Adidas Consortium Stan Smith X Neighbourhood
The adidas Stan Smith is a classic that dates back to the early 1970s (though the Haillet actually dates back to the mid 1960s) and it's a shoe that's a right fit for Neighborhood's whole aesthetic. While all-white would be inappropriate for the NBHD worldview, we expected black and they've given us a brown boot leather, tan lining and some unique forefoot branding. With adidas's relationship with Shin and the team going way, way back (in fact the Superstar they collaborated on is nearly a decade old), this makes a lot of sense. Some might find that lettering a little odd, but it gives this shoe a new look that's steeped in nostalgia. With its retooled shape and improved fit, this adidas Consortium drop is a good addition to the collection.
